Our top-of-the-line K5000xmc is a heavy-duty combination plasma cutting, oxy-fuel cutting, and milling machine that will give our customers competitive edge over other plate burning machines. With multiple functions (cutting, milling, drilling) in a single machine, there’s no need for complex fixtures, multiple setups, or moving work pieces from station to station, maximizing productivity.

At SMD Steel, we firmly believe in playing our part for a sustainable future. Our modern and highly energy efficient plate processing equipment has an automated fume extracting system installed which is designed to safely capture the smoke generated by the plasma cutting heads during plate burning. Our 35-acre footprint of the facility has more than 1/2 of the site preserved with natural trees to combat greenhouse gases. Recycling bins are located strategically throughout our facility, encouraging teammates to recycle as much content as possible thereby reducing the number of landfills. Every little change contributes manyfold towards carbon neutrality, leaving a healthy planet for our future generations.
